Lugn&Ro Akademin AB owns the project Diabetio. The board of directors are also the management team of Diabetio.
Founder and CEO
Roger is the founder and President of Lugn&Ro Akademin, the creator of Diabetio, an artificial intelligence application suite for diabetes care.
As father of two children with Type 1 diabetes, he is committed to improve the treatment and everyday life for 422 million people in the world living with diabetes.
Roger is serial entrepreneur and former research leader at Karolinska Institutet, where he successfully spun off several healthcare companies from seed to IPO. The latest one to IPO is CRAD AB, a company providing advanced radiation therapy for cancer treatment worldwide with current market capital of MSEK 1 087.
Roger is also the founder and CEO of Lugn&Ro Sverige AB, a healthcare provider company with 70 employees, where Diabetio is being tested by its doctors and patients.
Roger has PhD from Stockholm University / Karolinska Institutet, and MBA from Stockholm School of Economics.
Isabella Svensson Rissanen
Co-founder, AI Programmer and Program Manager
Isabella is co-founder of Lugn&Ro Akademin, where she manages Diabetio’s AI solutions and content development.
She is also co-founder and board member of Lugn&Ro Sverige AB, where she co-developed the Lugn&Ro Doktorn, a telemedicine solution with virtual doctor appointments.
Isabella is an experienced project and IT-system manager, and Quality Management System developer for healthcare solutions within diabetes, asthma, and hypertoni.
She is responsible for implementation of multiple public digital healthcare services, 1177 Vårdguiden, in Stockholm County.
She holds studies in science theory, culture, and media from Stockholm University.
Tove Svensson Rissanen
Co-founder and Content Manager
Tove is co-founder of Lugn&Ro Akademin, where she works as content manager for Diabetio.
Tove was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at age 18.
Tove is also co-founder of board member of Lugn&Ro Sverige AB, where she is the head of HR, responsible for recruiting, employer branding and development.
She is also co-founder and CEO of Lugn&Ro Bemanning, a headhunting service for healthcare professionals.
Tove has a Bachelor of Science in Management & Entrepreneurship from Northeastern University, NEU, Boston, USA (2014).
During her studies in Boston, she worked as part-time sales team intern at EF Education, with HR research and as teaching assistant at NEU, and as HR communications officer at State Street Corporation.
Alf is medical director at the Lugn&Ro Akademin and Diabetio.
He is also chief physician and partner at Lugn&Ro Sverige AB, where he today treats over 150 diabetes patients.
Alf is a doctor specialized in internal medicine, and has his undergraduate education from Karolinska Institutet.
He previously worked as a senior physician at the Cardiovascular Clinic at Karolinska Hospital, Medicin Clinic in Hudiksvall, Gävle, Mariehamn, and Borås, and Akutkliniken Akademiska Hospital.
He has several years of primary care experience from nursery homes and as district physician at healthcare centers, mainly in Stockholm County.
COO Bangladesh and India
Biplob will be responsible for Diabetio operations in Bangladesh and India.
He worked two years as marketing and PR manager at Ambia Memorial Hospital in Barisal, Bangladesh, and 10 years as program manager at Marie Stopes clinics in Dhaka, where he was responsible for ongoing programs, planning, staff and economy.
He holds MSc of commerce from Rajshasi University in Bangladesh, education in marketing from University of Kolkata, India, and Hospital Management from State University in Dhaka.
Sirpa is co-founder and board member of Lugn&Ro Sverige AB, where she is responsible for coordinating test development projects of Diabetio applications.
Sirpa is a senior assistant nurse and head of home care at Lugn&Ro Sverige AB.
